A young boy from Dungiven has helped to launch this weekend’s Co Londonderry and Limavady Agricultural Show.
Young Cahir McGilligan, who found fame on the recent series of UTV’s Rare Breed, was on hand to launch the show which takes place tomorrow, Saturday, July 20.
Avid farmer Cahir was delighted to be able to help out and is looking forward to participating himself.
The annual show, which will be held at Aghanloo, Limavady, will see a number of events taking place throughout the day.
These include horse and pony showing and jumping working hunter classes.
Livestock showing (Clydesdales, Shetlands, Cattle, Sheep and Goats) and a fencing competition will also take place.
Other attractions include home industries, crafts, vegetables and flowers, fun and games and numerous trade stands and young farmers tug of war.
Updates can be found on their Facebook page.
Cahir McGilligan is pictured above with the Chairman Mr Alwyn McFarlane and Mr Stanley Warnock who want to encourage everyone to attend the show for a great family day out.
